Job Title: Network Operations Engineer

Work Location: Chennai

Experience: 0-5 Years

Role Overview:

As an NOC Engineer, you will work as the person who will be handling the Network Infrastructure day to day workings of the data center. The role of that person is to observe the network performance, respond to incidents, troubleshoot problems, and to maintain the services availability continuously. Having strong technical skills, who can pay attention to details, and capable to handle the network incidents.

Skills Required:

*PMM level 1 knowledge of networking protocol and technologies (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, OSPF, VXLAN, EVPN)*

Cisco routing, switching, firewall, network monitoring tools and technologies hands on experience.

* Knowledge of surrounding network management and monitoring tools.

* Data center infrastructure equipment experience.

* Knowledge on the topic of network security practices and technologies.

* I also boast of *excellent problem solving and analytical skills* (i.e Pcap & DPI analytics using wireshark etc)

* Preferably Cosmos(DB) certifications such as: CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network+, or similar equivalent.

Key Responsibilities: 

* Preferred network operations experience for PROVEN data center work.

* Look for the health of the network by using network management tools.

* Monitor network performance by dashboards.

* Use network monitoring tools to monitor network infrastructure, system and application to obtain optimum performance availability.

* Trouble shoots network incidents as well as local technical issues to determine cause and implement corrective remediation when warranted.

* Ability to work effectively in teams and in communication.

Note:

* This job should work on 24x7, rotational shifts.

* Preferred is CCNA Certification.
