Job Description
The TBA System is configurable and tested by Candidate to fulfil client’s requirement through Wipro’s proprietary Total Benefit Administration™ (TBA) System.
Using proprietary systems and tools, analysis configures tables parameters in the TBA System to set up and configure as defined by analysis.
Testing comprises of making ready test cases and test data and so execution of tests in accordance to the direction from the SA.
This role is an entry-level role for someone who has had strong skills sets in programming (logical reasoning, analytical skills) and systems configuration and testing pertaining to systems which support human resource functions.
Quality and Technical Skills:
Principles of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
If so, then principles of automation testing, and some exposure could be desirable.
A fundamental grounding in system testing and the software quality assurance methodologies and practices.
Good analytical skills (i.e. ability to solve a complex problem into smaller manageable pieces and agree to understand and describe the relations between those pieces).
Use basic relational database concepts (table relationships, keys, SQL queries, … etc).
Systems implementations experience.
Generates intermediate SQL queries it writes.
Solves intermediate system faults and errors
Manages tasks well to make sense of what to prioritize and update status to Managers proactively.
Can tie test plans to real time customer impact.
Can think test cases beyond what is in the test plan
Great working knowledge how to break the system through testing
Understanding Importance of Data Analysis
Analyzes and debug issues
As needed, it uses relevant problem solving resources.
It escalates problems when they should have been.
