Being an IBM India Systems Development Lab (IBM ISDL) you will get an opportunity to work on all the phases of product development (Design/Development, Test and Support) of core Systems technologies operating systems, Firmware, Systems Software, Storage Software & Cloud Software.

As a Software developer at ISDL:

As developer of IBM Systems products, interfacing with development & product management teams and end users you will be focused on development on Geos.

You will carefully analyze the product requirement, find out the best course of design and implement / code the solution, test the entire product development life cycle. In fact, one could also work on Validation and Support of IBM Systems products.

Technical and Professional Expertise Requirement.

Systems Software Programming Skills (C, C++, Java, Python, GoLang, ReactJS, Groovy) Strong expertise

Knowledge of Operating Systems Concepts (Unix/Linux internals), data structure, algorithms

Experience with Virtualization, Cloud Computing technologies (Red Hat OpenShift, Microservices Architecture) and Kubernetes / Dokers etc.

good communication skills to work efficiently in the globally working team environment.

Having Masters/Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Engineering or similar.

Technical and Professional Expertise preferred

OpenStack, Security, App Dev on Cloud Platform & DevOps

Web UI Frameworks: etc (vaadin + react js + UI design libraries like Bootstrap / Material)

Experience with J2EE, JSP, RESTful web services and GraphQL API

Experience working practically with Java, Javascript, Ansible, Databases, SQL, Node JS etc

Data Science, NLP, AI/ML understanding at the most current best practise level, modern tools and techniques for deriving meaningful insights.

Ability to demonstrate proven interpersonal skills, contributing to team effort, to accomplish related results as necessary.
