Associate Software Engineer

As an Associate Software Engineer in Reach at Anthology, you will be on a team developing and delivering high quality solutions to improve the higher education experience for both students and their families. On the other hand, this role involves collaboration, code analysis, coding, testing, running and maintaining the best outcomes for our products.
Primary responsibilities will include:
Unit testing the coding and the performing of enhancements in the Product Suite.
Stabilization and maintenance of the Product Suite, analyzing root causes of the issues they are, and suggesting areas of improvement.
Active participation at SCRUM ceremonies, making good improvement remarks and feedback.
Testable, reusable, efficient, and legible code to enhancements in the Product Suite
Review business requirements, discuss impacted areas, propose viable technical solutions & multiple alternatives to an issues/areas of concern
Participating in team commitments.
The Candidate:
Required skills/qualifications:
Firstly, BE/BTech/MCA or above Computer Science (or IT functional experience)
Commercial software development experience 0-2 years in a SaaS company.
Application development experience using:
C++
MFC
Some idea of OOPS and Multi threading.
Knowledge of RDBMS/SQL concepts
A body of proven experience in software development and good programming background.
Good analytical skills
When it comes to skills, we must have debugging and troubleshooting skills.
Will be strong in coding skills with writing clean, efficient and maintainable code.
Knowledge of SCRM or other Agile methodologies
Team player
Great in terms of problem solving ability and attention to detail
Ability to work well in a team environment and a strong communication skill
A fluency in both written and spoken English.
