Your day at NTT DATA
An associate software development engineer entry level subject matter expert, works with the designing, developing and testing of software systems, modules or applications for software enhancements and new products, such as cloud based or internet related tools.
Assisting in detailed design for some of modules/sub systems, prototype for multi vendor infrastructure and showing internally or externally to client.
This role designs and develops functionality in a micro services environment ingesting APIs, telemetry data, and ML/AI algorithms over structured and unstructured data.
What you'll be doing
Key Responsibilities:
Detailed instructions to design and develop solutions and functionality that would accelerate the growth of business is received.
Helps with working on, and testing the code.
Used for the execution of automated testing.
Participates in software deployment based on takes from various stakeholders.
Delivers software components while working as a project with the product team.
It supports the application and building of solutions through automation through coding with 3rd party software.
Is given very detailed instructions of how to craft, build and debug large scale distributed systems.
Helps in preparing the technical program, end user documentation, and the procedure doc.
Refactoring helps write code better by assisting.
Its main use is to help you review code written by other developers.
As required it will perform any other related task.
Knowledge and Attributes:
Cloud architecture and services in the multiple public clouds like AWS, GCP, Azure and Microsoft Office 365.
Also, getting familiar with popular libraries and frameworks like React, React Native, Flutter, Angular, Meteor, Backbone, Mongoose, Java, Jogl, Java 3D, D3 and so on.
An amount of data structures, algorithms, software design expertise with clear analytical skills and debugging abilities.
Experience with API product development and knowledge of micro services based software architecture.
A little of SQL expertise and expertise with no-SQL data store such as Elasticsearch, MongoDB, Cassandra.
Container run time knowledge (Kubernetes, Docker, LXC/LXD).
Context:
A concentrated overview of containers, written for developers of all levels and backgrounds.
They very find some agility, some lean practices, and some test driven development.
Be in the habit of doing things and having a can do attitude.
Spotted to be able to work well in the team of different backgrounds and with various experience levels.
Being able to adapt well to a fast-paced, ever changing environment.
A level of familiarity on the CI/CD concepts and tools.
And some proficiency with cloud based infrastructure and deployments.

Academic Qualifications and Certifications:
Computer Science or Engineering based Bachelor's degree (or equivalent).
Preferred: Microsoft Certified Azure Fundamentals.
Agile certifications relevant preferred.
Required Experience:
Geo distributed teams working through innovation, bootstrapping, pilot and production phases by working with many stakeholders up to the highest quality and performance at the entry level experience.
For example, entry level experience with tools throughout the whole software delivery lifecycle. source control, CI, test, mocking, work tracking, defect management, IDE.
No Agile or Lean methodologies or Continuous Delivery / DevOps nor Analytics / data driven processes entry level experience.
Working with large data sets and knowing how to use proper ML/AI algorithm(algorithms).
Developing micro services and RESTful APIs and entry level experience in this.
Software development at entry level.
